  • How do I place an order?
You can place an order in a number of ways, you can visit us at the shop, call us on 07900 600665, email us at hello@foxandbeedesign.co.uk or via the website
  • Do you make custom makes?
Yes. We are happy to make any of our designs with a choice of customisations, you can choose from our range of vintage or new fabrics. You can order online (see our Custom Order pages) or visit us at the shop and we can have a chat about what you want and show you various options. Please note: custom orders cannot be returned or refunded, this is because the garment has been made to your own specifications and therefore it’s not re-saleable as an off-the-shelf- item in the shop.
  • Do you provide fabric samples?
We are sorry but we are not able to provide fabric samples. We buy small batch fabrics, handmade fabrics, and dead-stock so do not have the excess to provide samples.
  • Do you do alterations and repairs?
No. We don’t offer this service at The Cloth Fox, however we recommend That's Sew Lymington, a local shop very near to us on St Thomas Street who provides an alterations and repair service.
  • Do you do bespoke designs and couture?
No. We do not offer a bespoke service. We design and make our own brand clothing and we cannot take any work to create/alter or copy patterns for a bespoke/couture service.
  • Do you run workshops and teach sewing?
We are working hard to renovate our workshop space and hope to start offering our garment making workshops from Summer 2024. We will be offering a range of day long workshops to make our standard Kimono, Palazzo Pants, and Tunic Dress. The classes will be suitable for beginners as well as more advanced sewists. We won't be offering any basic sewing classes or sewing machine tutorials.
  • Are your fabrics pre-shrunk or washed?
No. Fabrics come to us directly from our wholesalers and have no pre-treatments prior to packaging. Therefore, we always recommend as best practice that you always pre-wash your fabric prior to laying out and cutting your pattern in case of any shrinkage. Some fabrics are particularly prone to shrinkage, such as linen, denim, wools and wool blends (not an exhaustive list). Fox & Bee can bear no responsibility for any shrinkage experienced within any fabric purchased from us.
  • How accurate are the colours on your images?
We take every care that the fabric colour is as accurate as possible on our computer monitors. However we can’t guarantee an exact match because colours can vary from monitor to monitor depending on your computer’s calibration. We recommend that you order samples so you can check that the colour is exactly what you want.
